Overview

The Grand Canyon Lighting System (hereinafter referred to as "StrongLED Grand Canyon") was established in Shanghai Grand Canyon Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. in 2002 and Grand Canyon Lighting System (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in 2009. It covers an area of 68 acres in Fenhu High tech Zone, Wujiang, Jiangsu Province, and has built a research and development production base. The base is located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta at the intersection of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai provinces and cities - the Fenhu High tech Industrial Development Zone in Jiangsu Province, which is the most geographically advantageous area in the "Shanghai" economic circle.

In March 2016, it was officially listed on the OTC market in Taiwan, China, China, becoming the first professional supplier of lighting equipment and control systems for listed counters. Grand Canyon has been deeply involved in the LED outdoor landscape lighting industry for more than 20 years, focusing on innovative technologies such as research and development, design, and production processes. The technology of control system solutions is constantly innovating and breaking through, and continuous sales services meet customer needs. In October 2021, it was awarded the "Carbon Neutrality Certificate", and in December of the same year, it was successfully selected as a "Green Factory" in Jiangsu Province. In January 2022, the StrongLED Grand Canyon Testing Center was certified by CNAS Laboratory, and in January 2023, it was awarded platinum level WELL certification and WPR evaluation.

History

2002

Shanghai Grand Canyon Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. was registered and established with a registered capital of 1 million US dollars.

2003

The Grand Canyon is the first to apply LED light sources to signs, signs, and three-dimensional luminous characters, and has launched LED advertising light source modules.

2004

The Grand Canyon has launched the VCC5000 control system and ColorMaster 1.0 software, officially entering the field of LED lighting.

2005

Grand Canyon has launched the Urban Pearl series of products, as well as independently developed LED display screen control systems and StrongPlayer 1.0 software, making it one of the few LED application professional companies in China with their own control systems.

2006

We have successively launched a series of urban impression and urban floodlighting products, providing a complete solution for outdoor lighting in high-end hotels, office buildings, commercial shopping centers, bridges and roads, parks and squares, etc.

2007

The Grand Canyon provides a giant LED stage background display screen for the first performance of Jay Chou's global tour held at the Shanghai 80000 People Sports Center, marking the official launch of the City Window series products by the Grand Canyon, entering the field of multimedia video display screens; Successfully completed the large-scale LED lighting screen lighting project in Shanghai Meiluo City.

2009

Established Grand Canyon Lighting System (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of 81.856 million yuan, and purchased 78 acres of land in Suzhou Fenhu Economic and Technological Development Zone to build a research and development production base, marking a new historical stage in the development of the Grand Canyon.

2010

Launching smart wireless remote control LED street light system and smart LED home green lighting system, providing new growth points for the further development of the Grand Canyon; Successful implementation of the red arch of wooden architecture facade lighting of the China Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo; Dujiangyan Irrigation Project Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Spot Night Lighting Project and Shanghai Changfeng International MGM Night Lighting Project.

2012

The world's first LED lighting wireless remote synchronous linkage control technology has successfully implemented the landscape lighting project of synchronized linkage control for buildings along Nanbang Road in Chongqing. Formally becoming a leading global LED multifunctional system integration supplier.

2013

The FT-LINK intelligent LED commercial lighting system has been officially launched, and the second phase of the 20000 square meter Fenhu R&D and production base in Suzhou has been completed and completed. Shanghai Grand Canyon and Suzhou Grand Canyon have successively passed the qualification certification of "high-tech enterprise".

2015

The opening ceremony of the School of Architecture at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the StrongLED Industry University Research Cooperation Base was grandly held on April 17th at the StrongLED headquarters (Suzhou), under the leadership of Professor Chang, Vice Dean of the School of Architecture at the Central Academy of Fine Arts; Dr. Hank - Director of MAI; Mr. Wu Xinmin, the leader of Fenhu High tech Development Zone, and Mr. Zhang Jiarui, the chairman of StrongLED, co chaired the event. This center is the first industry university research cooperation of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in the field of media architecture, aiming to achieve higher expectations, realization, and development of applied art. The center is committed to providing an interactive, research, exchange, and development platform for undergraduate, graduate/master's, and doctoral students, as well as scholars, experts, leaders, and teaching staff from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, MAI, and related fields in the industry. In addition to providing such platform resources, StrongLED also provides comprehensive support in related technologies, rich industry experience, and application development equipment, contributing to the development and education of the media architecture field.

2016

Grand Canyon Lighting System Group was officially listed in Taiwan, China on March 30, 2016! Also became the first professional listed company for architectural lighting and outdoor landscape lighting design solutions.

2017

The first floor lobby, reception hall, light environment experience hall, and second floor office area of the second phase of the headquarters have won the German Red Dot Design Award. The light environment experience hall has been approved as a science popularization education base in Jiangsu Province and Suzhou City. The enterprise has been recognized by the Suzhou Municipal Government as an enterprise technology center and a smart city media building night scene lighting engineering technology research center.

2018

Signed an industry university research cooperation agreement with Nanjing University of Information Technology; Invited to participate in the MAB18 International Media Architecture Biennale and awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award; StrongLED was named the most popular lighting brand, Suzhou famous brand product, and wall wash and line lights were awarded the Golden Finger Award; Chairman Zhang Jiarui was elected as a technology entrepreneur and influential figure in the entire LED industry chain in 2018.

2019

The renewal ceremony between the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the StrongLED Grand Canyon Lighting System Industry University Research Internship Base was grandly held on May 8th at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Guests including Wang Xiaolin, Vice President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Chang Zhigang, Deputy Director of the Visual Art High Precision Innovation Center of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Dr. Hank and Dr. Martin, Chairman of the MAI, and Mr. Zhang Jiarui, Chairman of the Grand Canyon Lighting System, attended the ceremony.

2020

The StrongLED Grand Canyon has been recognized as the "Jiangsu Province Enterprise Technology Center" and the "Jiangsu Province Smart City Media Architecture Night Scene Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center".

Won two "Lighting Engineering Design Awards" at the 15th Zhongzhao Lighting Awards.

 

2021

The company has been awarded the "Carbon Neutrality Certificate" and selected as a "Green Factory" in Jiangsu Province. It has also won the "Annual Landscape Lighting Brand Award" at the 11th Golden Finger Awards and the first and third prizes at the 16th Zhongzhao Lighting Awards.

 

2022

StrongLED Grand Canyon Testing Center has obtained CNAS laboratory certification; The Apollo series of floodlights have won the CQC Green Building Materials Grading Certification Samsung certification.

2023

The 1st and 2nd floors of the headquarters building of the Grand Canyon Lighting System Group have been awarded platinum level WELL certification and WPR evaluation.

StrongLED's LED lighting and control system related products are all proprietary brands, which can be applied to embellish building exterior walls, environmental beautification, and general lighting.

Many successful cases of StrongLED have proven that our products can be widely used, while also possessing excellent performance, quality, reliability, and effective energy-saving advantages. All production lines and electronic warehouses are temperature controlled dust-free rooms to ensure a clean, sterile, and efficient working environment. This can also monitor the quality of our products through the production process.

The main factory actively responds to energy conservation and emission reduction, builds a green factory, continuously deepens and strengthens environmental protection concepts, and through the green development plan of photovoltaic power stations, the total roof area of the main factory is installed with solar panels of about 17000 square meters, with an installed capacity of 1.5 megawatts and a daily power generation of about 3000 kWh.

In 2009, a 78 acre R&D and production base was established in Fenhu Economic Development Zone, Suzhou, China. So far, the first and second phases of 30000 square meter factory buildings have been completed and put into use. The Grand Canyon Fenhu R&D and Production Base has multiple automated production lines, as well as dozens of high-end precision production equipment including high-speed automatic SMT machines, high-speed automatic glue filling machines, and high-speed digital precision machining centers (CNC). In addition, it also has a complete set of advanced optical, electrical, and reliability testing equipment. Strong production capacity and comprehensive testing equipment ensure that StrongLED Grand Canyon always completes customer orders from around the world with high quality and efficiency.

Production technology advantages:

1. SMT mounting: Compared to other domestic peers who mostly use manual mounting, StrongLED Grand Canyon adopts SMT fully automatic mounting and introduces JUKI equipment imported from Japan for mask/lens mounting, improving mounting accuracy and ensuring consistency in light efficiency;

2. Precision machining: A lighting profile precision machining center is established in the factory, which is directly controlled by the quality assurance department to ensure the ± tolerance of accessories and achieve perfect fit between the lighting profile and the lamp beads;

3. Lamp gluing: The lamp gluing is automatically processed by the gluing machine, with even glue output and better waterproof performance;

4. Lamp assembly stage: Key workstations achieve automatic welding and locking of screws to ensure product quality and consistency across all products;

5. Product shipment inspection: All products undergo reliability and light efficiency testing at the Grand Canyon Laboratory before shipment to ensure that all delivered products meet product quality standards and customer requirements.

Outdoor sprinkler testing device

The StrongLED Grand Canyon has specially designed outdoor sprinkler and immersion testing facilities. The lamp is tested for long-term exposure to rainwater and sunlight (heat and ultraviolet) to test its waterproofing and durability in actual outdoor environments.

Waterproof test (IP test) equipment

This device is used to test the waterproof performance of outdoor LED lighting fixtures, with testing levels of IPX3, IPX4, IPX5, IPX6, and IPX7. Complies with standards GB7000.1, GB/T 4208, and IEC60529.

Salt spray testing machine

The salt water spray type testing machine is used to test the salt spray corrosion test of the electronic, hardware parts, metal materials and products of outdoor LED lighting lamps, and meets the standards GB/T 2423.17-2008, IEC 60068-2-11, and GB/T 10125.

UV accelerated weathering testing machine

This equipment mainly detects the accelerated aging of LED lighting products and materials, verifies the oxidation resistance and yellowing resistance of the products and materials. Complies with GB/T 16422.3 and ASTM G154 standards.

Constant temperature and humidity box

The equipment is used to test the parameters and performance of LED lighting products and materials after undergoing high temperature, low temperature, alternating humidity and heat, or constant temperature environmental changes. Complies with standards GB/T 33721-2017, GB/T2423.1-2008, GB/T2423.2-2008, GB/T2423.3-2006, and GB/T2423.4-2008.

High & Low Temperature Tester

Equipment is used to assess the adaptability of LED lighting products to rapid changes in ambient temperature. It is an indispensable test in the identification test of product design and routine testing during the batch production stage. In some cases, it can also be used for environmental stress screening tests. Complies with standards GB/T 33721-2017, GB/T2423.1-2008, GB/T2423.2-2008, GB/T2423.3-2006, GB/T2423.4-2008
