Xiamen Center Skyscrapers
Xiamen Center Skyscrapers is located at 551 Haicang Blvd, Haicang District, Xiamen, Fujian, China, and it is a key project of both Fujian province and Xiamen city. It boasts a total floor area of about 610,000 ㎡, with a total of roughly RMB 7.5 billion invested. It comprises of six buildings, including four 5A-level office buildings and two international platinum 5-star + 4-star hotels. Office buildings, shopping malls, luxury hotels, and Xiamen water shows are all available here.
The design of Xiamen Center Skyscrapers was led by Mr. Cui Kai, winner of the fourth Liang Sicheng Architecture Prize, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and deputy dean of China Architecture Design & Research Group. The philosophy "Dialogue between the mountain and sea" found its application in the design, which helps show the urban features of Xiamen as a sea garden. The project's overall architectural outline is like waves and tides, and sailboats, reflecting the momentum of the "sea". The terraced set-back model provides a platform to view the sea, looking as magnificent as a mountain.
The combination of the two images, including "mountain" and "sea", perfectly reflects the charm of Xiamen's sea and mountain, adding new features to the urban landscapes of Xiamen as a coastal city. To show the features of the unique landscapes of Xiamen Center, they used the linear light CVD4 manufactured by StrongLED. This product is thin, easy-to-hide, and can be integrated into the curtain wall, making installation more convenient and combination more desirable.
In addition to high-efficiency LED lights, Xiamen Center Skyscrapers, a landmark of Canghai District, Xiamen, adopts various green and energy-saving technologies, making itself a model green building.
Xiamen Center Skyscrapers will be the headquarters of Xiamen Southeast International Shipping Center, and it is China's fourth international shipping center after Shanghai, Tianjin, and Dalian. Capped at 163 meters, it is the tallest building in Haicang New Town. It is also the first project to win the titles of state-level "Green Building" and "Construction Engineering Technology" demonstration projects in China.
The lighting project of Xiamen Center Skyscrapers is another masterpiece of StrongLED after its contribution to the BRICS Conference in 2017 in Xiamen, also known as Egret Island, adding new features to the city.
